Rustichella D' Abruzzo pastas are made from the finest quality Durum Wheat Semolina grown near the salty air of the Adriatic Sea. The pasta is habd crafted by Gianluigi Peduzzi in the town of Pianella. Gianluigi uses the same hand carved bronze dies used by his grandfather. The bronze dies give the pasta a very subtle texture allowing the pasta to hold the sauce. Some of the pasta is hand cut. Rustichella air dries the pasta for 56 hours. Air drying gives the pasta added flavor and texture. Rustichella D' Abruzzo's shapes are traditional shapes and cuts by region.
